Riverbend Music Festival in Chattanooga, TN

The vibe in the state of Tennessee is definitely music. From the blues and rock 'n' roll in Memphis to blue grass and country in Nashville, music fills the air as you travel from one end of the state to another. Then there's Chattanooga, which rocks to everything, from Riverbend to RiverRocks, two top festivals in the scenic city. If you're visiting the city by boat during these festivals, make your reservations early as slips are limited in the downtown marina.

Earlier this evening, it officially opened its largest annual festival - the Riverbend music festival. The nine-day festival takes place along the waterfront in downtown, with live performances from more than 100 artists on six stages.

This year, they include favorites like Wille Nelson, The B-52s, The Commodores and Little Richard. In years past, Riverbend is associated with sweltering temperatures in the 90s. Today, the weather was nice and cool, with temperatures in the mid 60s! I'm sure Willie Nelson didn't mind as he took the stage tonight.

  2. Welcome to my neck of the woods. Or should I say, my section of the sea? lol.
Here I was imagining you tooling around on your boat in exotic waters, yet you are closer than I thought. Is this your first time in Tennessee?
