Wandering around Central Park, New York City

We love New York!

Around this time two years ago, we visited a college friend in New Jersey. She took us to New York City one day. After battling the traffic to Chinatown for a dim sum lunch, we wanted to spend some time outdoors. It was a fine spring day. The 843-acre Central Park was the perfect venue.  You can walk from one end of the park to the other and be amazed by the tranquility and beauty. It is a wonderful place to savor spring and people watch! We saw two weddings, some ducks and turtles.

We enjoyed Central Park tremendously. It was a nice break before our next stop - the Metropolitan Museum of Art. If you find yourself in New York City, check out Central Park, an oasis, right in the middle of Manhattan.
